Plant-A-Go Psyllium Husk (Plantago ovata, Plantago ispaghula, “vlozaad”) is een oplosbare voedingsvezel. Psyllium is een inheems plantje (van het geslacht weegbree) en groeit vooral in India, Iran en Pakistan waar de verschillende delen al honderden jaren worden geconsumeerd. De “husk” is het schilletje rondom het zaadje waaraan het ingrediënt de verschillende functionaliteiten ontleent.
